What's That On Your Legs?

River Island Olive Skinny Jean In Cosmic Print - £45 @ asos.com
ASOS Crop Trousers In Floral Print - £45 @ asos.com

I love a good in-your-face print, don't you? One that is visible from 100 metres and preferably is combined with other loud prints. This season more is more after all (and for me it's nearly correct all the time). During a regular browse at Asos, I found these two gems, one being a jeans painted with a galaxy print, made popular by Christopher Kane's Resort 2011 collection. And the other pant is a more fun and happy piece. You could call that a trouser which "brightens up your office wardrobe" if you wish. I hope you don't.

Shoe Friday #69

Seems like I'm on a red (cowboy) boot trip, after last week's Red Riding Hood Special and my new cowboy boots I showed you yesterday. And the combination of both is just unbeatable. Instant cool factor guaranteed. These wedge boots are by Rupert Sanderson and you can get them here if you like.
Happy Friday!

Hey everyone! Today it was my first day back at uni; I'm in the second year now and really happy to be back, wohoo! That's what I wore to uni - my new boots saw the light of the day for their first time, they are SO AWESOME... and super comfortable as well. I'm so lucky that I got the last pair in my size and in store. Don't you love it when that happens?
The jeans are also new, my first black skinny jeans ever, yes I'm for real. Bought them before the shoes and must say they go perfectly with these cowboy boots.
Also, here you can finally see the Asos backpack I got a few weeks ago, it's really great; roomy, has a clean timeless cut and you can wear it with anything.

Who's back at uni as well? I wish you a good start and a great year! :D

P.S.: Just noticed that that's the first time I'm posting photos with my new hair colour. I love it, it's much cooler than all the reds I had since the beginning of the year.

New In - Cowboy Boots (Hell Yeah)

Hola! Today I went shopping on Oxford Street to search and buy this mega dope leather jacket. I've wanted it since a few weeks now, but haven't had proper time to go shopping yet because of LFW. Unfortunately, I didn't find it in the size I wanted, which is L... M is far too tight, it's not normal! I'll continue trying searching for it and eventually I'll get it! Hah!
Then I went straight into the shoe department at Topshop, to search for these boots I've blogged about in July. At first, the shop assistant told me that they'd sold out and gave the same shoe but with a different design which I didn't know of - shock horror! I thought I'd knew everything about Topshop's shoes, haha.. Well, I tried them on, loved them and suddenly she brought me the ones I originally had come for. Suddenly I had to decide...
But in the end I got these super dope mega awesome bad-ass cowboy boots. They just look much much better than the others and more luxurious as everything's leather.
Hell, I adore them! They're the radest shoes in my closet man, I think I'm blacking out.....

Watcha think? Do you love them as much as I do?

Also I reached 100 GFC followers yesterday!! I want to thank every single one of you for reading my blog and leaving super nice comments :D It's awesome that you like what I post! Of course, also thank you for the 25 people following me via Bloglovin :D Thank you to each and every one of you!!!

Lulu Liu @ VFS Exhibition

I was very happy to see that Lulu Liu had been selected for showcasing her SS13 collection during the Vauxhall Fashion Scout exhibition last week. I interviewed her back in June for Idol magazine and really liked what I saw. She is a designer who learns and adapts very quickly and each season we see something new. Lulu has always created colourful garments and for next summer she goes further by developing her print skills. She did a great job as they are very easily recognisable and very different from the many ones we've seen in the past.

Another thing Lulu does very well is promoting herself. Designing itself is fine, but if you want to make a living from it you obviously have to know how to sell yourself. During LFW this February, she had one model to exhibit her clothes. This time, Lulu upped her game; there were three models who wore her most eye-catching designs. Everyone noticed them, from the hordes of street style photographers to stylists, buyers and editors. The whole industry really.

I'm curious to see what Lulu will do in February 2013. Find out more about her on Lulu Liu's official page and VFS.
